Native Plant Sale!

❇︎ The corner of Cambria Street and West Gore, Stratford ❇︎

What kind of sale will this be?

On Saturday, June 6th, I will be holding a one-day plant sale and fundraiser here in the garden. I have been potting up stray native plants, will have vegetable seedlings and a handful of nativar, cultivated, and companion plants available, PLUS two brand-new rain barrels, care of Native Plant Source!

Over the winter, I leave dried flowers in place so the birds can eat the seeds. This mimics how they forage for seeds in the wild, and it’s also satisfying to watch from my window. Of course, it does mean that the uneaten seeds get flung all over the dang place. I’ve been potting up the seedlings!

This will be similar to a garage sale in style, since the plants have not been grown in strict conformity, but there will be information offered, and donation amounts suggested according to pot and plant size.

This is a fundraiser, so all plants are available by donation, with suggested prices of $3 – $25 depending on pot and plant size.

(I WANT TO SPREAD THE LOVE OF ECOLOGICAL GARDENING, BUT I’m Also a Homebound disabled lady trying to maintain her garden and cover costs inside of a bleak employment landscape. Your contributions are deeply appreciated.)

❇︎ Cash, e-transfer, and Paypal will be accepted ❇︎

Rain date: Saturday, June 13th
